Getaway vehicle? More like a clown car!
Nine masked thieves were caught in absurd footage piling out of a single sedan — with two even clumsily emerging from the trunk — before robbing a building in Virginia, according to cops.
In surveillance footage fit for a slapstick comedy, the cramped crooks are seen pulling into a parking lot in Warrenton on Oct. 15 before all nine of them inexplicably climb out of the tiny Hyundai Sonata.
The flock of bandits then went on to rob a nearby commercial building, according to the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office, which is seeking help identifying the suspects.
It’s unclear what the alleged thieves stole — or why they needed to roll so deep. It is also unclear where they were able to fit in any of their loot.
