The grief-stricken mom of a 5-year-old boy allegedly run over by his drunk-driving grandmother has called it the “most traumatic and devastating scenario” she has ever endured.

Little Carson Lawson died after his 55-year-old grandma, Kristen Anders, knocked him over while pulling out of their driveway in Slidell, Louisiana, as he was waiting for his school bus at 7 a.m. Tuesday, cops said.

“There is absolutely nothing in this world that I could say to truly express the sorrow I will now and forever have in my heart,” the boy’s mother, Abi Combs, wrote in a tragic Facebook tribute as she shared a dozen photos of her smiling son.

“His unexpected death and the way he went was the most traumatic and devastating scenario I have ever had to endure.”

“I am devastated and completely broken,” she added.

The grieving mother stopped short of mentioning the arrest or circumstances surrounding her son’s death.

The boy’s grandmother, who police allege was under the influence of alcohol and sedatives at the time, was arrested at the scene and charged with vehicular homicide.

“Carson knew how much we loved him,” she wrote.

“I will never be the same and I’m asking for privacy at this time to grieve my baby who was gone way too soon.”

“When everyone asks me if I need anything during this time, I truly do not know what to say but I appreciate the thoughts. I don’t know what to do or really what comes next,” she continued.

Police are still probing the tragedy.

Slidell Police Chief Daniel Seuzeneau had earlier described the ordeal as every parent’s “worst nightmare.”

“It’s safe to say that I don’t think anybody believes that she knew the child was in front of her car,” he said after the grandmother was charged.

“I just want everybody to understand that this is a very tragic situation for this family, because not only did they lose their precious 5-year-old child, they’re also having to deal with the fact that the grandmother is now under arrest for this incident.”
