‘Landman’ Season 2: How to Watch the Premiere Episode

Season 1 of Landman introduced viewers to the intense world of oil company crisis manager Tommy Norris and set records for the Paramount Plus streaming service.

The drama co-created by Taylor Sheridan had the most-watched global premiere and finale of any series in the history of the streaming service, according to Paramount Plus, and earned Billy Bob Thornton a Golden Globe nomination for his role as Norris. Season 2 of the show, which chronicles modern-day fortune-seeking in the land of oil rigs, will pick up after the events of season 1, as Norris faces growing pressure from M-Tex Oil and Demi Moore’s character Cami Miller, per Paramount Plus.

Season 2 of Landman will include the return of Andy Garcia’s cartel boss from the season 1 finale and will see Sam Elliott join the cast to play the father of Norris. If you want more of the West Texas-set series, here is your complete guide to tuning in.

How to watch the Landman season 2 premiere

In the US, new episodes are set to debut on Sundays at 12 a.m. ET (so PT folks should be able to watch on Saturdays at 9  p.m.). Barring any delays, expect to find the first episode in your Paramount Plus app when you start your day on Sunday, Nov. 16.

How many episodes are in Landman season 2?

Season 2 will consist of 10 episodes, the same number as season 1.

What are the Paramount Plus plans?

Paramount Plus offers two tiers: Essential and Premium. Essential costs $8 per month, and Premium costs $13 per month. You can also choose to prepay for a year, which costs $60 for the Essential plan and $120 for the Premium plan.

Essential is the ad-supported tier, and Premium is its ad-free tier from Paramount Plus. With the pricier Premium, you also get downloads, your live, local CBS station and the ability to stream all Showtime programming.

Bundle options are few, although you can get the streaming service through Walmart Plus.

Is there a Paramount Plus price hike?

Yes, Paramount Plus is raising the price of its subscriptions, but you have two months until that happens. On Jan. 15, Essential and Premium monthly plans will get a $1 bump. The Essential annual plan will increase $30, and the yearly Premium plan will rise $20.
