Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to pitch President Trump on a plan to strike Iran, during a Mar-a-Lago meeting next week, according to a report.

Netanyahu will brief Trump, at the Dec. 29 meeting, on increasing concerns that Tehran is rebuilding its ballistic missile program, which was destroyed by Israel during the the 12-Day War in June, several intelligence sources told NBC News.

The Jewish state also believes the Islamic Republic is reconstituting its nuclear enrichment facilities, including Fordo, which were crippled on June 22 by American B-52 bombers executing Operation Midnight Hammer.

The suspected activity will be presented by Netanyahu as a direct threat that could require swift action on the part of the US, NBC News reported.
