NYC man, 26, gunned down steps away from home: cops

A 26-year-old man was shot and killed right around the corner from his Bed-Stuy home late Saturday night, cops said.

Elquan Tillman was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso at about 10:56 p.m. outside 134 Stockton St., police said. 

Tillman was rushed by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County where he was later pronounced dead, according to authorities. 

The scene of the shooting on Stockton Street was just around the corner from the victim’s home on Tompkins Avenue, police said.

The shooter or shooters were still on the loose late Sunday, police said.
