A massive fire tore through a four-story luxury mansion in Hollywood Hills West Monday evening, sending flames shooting through the roof of the million-dollar property.
Fire crews rushed to the scene around 6:10 p.m. at 1258 Hilldale Ave, where heavy fire was already ripping through the upper floors of the home.
Dramatic flames could be seen blasting through the roof.
Units from the Los Angeles County Fire Department were first on the scene and were joined by units from the Los Angeles Fire Department.
It was not immediately clear if anyone was inside the residence when the fire broke out, or what sparked the blaze.
Firefighters continued working to knock down the flames as smoke billowed high above the Hollywood Hills neighborhood.
No injuries had been immediately reported.
