This wannabe influencer’s “dumb decision” was seen by 9 million people — including the cops.
An idiotic content creator has been arrested after going wildly viral with a video of him pretending to propose to someone while riding on the hood of a car speeding down a Utah highway.
Kaleb Bryson McLain, 20, was arrested Monday – nine days after posting the stupid stunt with flowers and a ring on the I-215 in Utah, KSTU-TV reported.
His clip was seen more than 9 million times, gaining the attention of the Utah Highway Patrol — who were unimpressed with his “recklessness.”
“If he fell off, he could have caused serious injury to others or himself,” the department said as it arrested him for reckless endangerment – a misdemeanor in Utah with a maximum penalty of up to one year in jail and a $2,500 fine.
While being hauled to the Salt Lake County Jail, McLain “made excited utterances that he made [a] dumb decision and that riding on the hood was a terrifying situation,” according to an affidavit seen by KSL.
He was also charged with having booze despite being under 21. His bail was set at $1,000.
The wannabe influencer is no stranger to posting silly stunts for views.
His previous includes making flamethrowers and dry ice bombs.
