An enraged man involved in a road rage incident who clung to the door of a moving SUV was arrested in San Francisco.
The insane act happened on California Street in Richmond neighborhood. Alfredo SalvioOrozco, 49, was caught on video as he threw things at the car and verbally abused the driver of the SUV.
The video reviewed by The California Post shows SalvioOrozco running around the black Toyota RAV4, banging on the hood of the car and hanging by the window with his feet dangling as the SUV driver tried to drive away from him.
SalvioOrozco’s sedan could be seen in the middle of the road with the driver’s door wide open.
Shocked pedestrians watched the whole thing unfold, at one point an onlooker could be heard saying, “Oh my God.”
“He’s running him over. Call 911, call 911,” another bystander’s voice could be heard on the video.
The San Francisco Police Department conducted its investigation and found that SalvioOrozco tried to vandalize the SUV “without provocation and made threats toward the driver,” reported Kron4.
SalvioOrozco is charged with suspicion of vandalism, making criminal threats, and throwing an object at a vehicle with intent to cause great bodily injury.
The San Francisco Criminal Court, on June 25, determined that there was “sufficient probable cause” to proceed with the case. SalvioOrozco was released on his own recognizance without any monetary bail, the court records show.
