Erika Kirk was dressed in black as she was rushed into a Utah courthouse Monday morning to face her slain husband’s alleged killer for the first time.

Charlie Kirk’s widow was seen in a black dress and sunglasses as she was escorted into the Provo courthouse, where she and the slain conservative activist’s family and friends will confront alleged assassin Tyler Robinson for the first time, footage from Fox News showed.

Robinson will appear in court for a preliminary hearing where prosecutors will lay out their case against the alleged gunman, who is accused of publicly executing the Turning Point USA founder while he was speaking at an event at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10.

The 23-year-old suspect allegedly admitted to the shooting in messages with his trans lover, Lance Twiggs, which are expected to be presented at the hearing, according to prosecutors.

Robinson has not yet entered a plea. He faces the death penalty, if convicted.
