Right-wing provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos called for “on the spot deportation” for illegal aliens just over a year before he was arrested by ICE.
The 41-year-old internet troll and British national was nabbed at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport by the Department of Homeland Security on Thursday, according to federal officials.
DHS claimed Yiannopoulos entered the US legally through New York City in May 2019, before “he chose to overstay his welcome.”
Yiannopoulos allegedly skipped an immigration hearing and was issued a final order of removal on July 22.
Prior to his arrest, Yiannopoulos advocated for strict US deportation policies.
“California needs ICE checkpoints at supermarket entrances, gas stations, strip malls, intersections and government buildings, with on the spot deportation for anyone who can’t prove they are in the US legally,” the former Breitbart News editor wrote on X in June 2025.
After anti-ICE protester Renee Good was killed in Minnesota, Yiannopoulos wrote that impeding deportation efforts should be met with death.
“There should be a simple understanding. If you interfere in any way with deportation operations, you get one in the head,” the former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene intern wrote on Jan. 9.
The one-time Kanye West ally also regularly shared his positive views on Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
“Total legal immunity for ICE agents when they’re on duty,” he wrote in Sept. 2025.
“Justice system should just be ice,” he wrote that same month.
Yiannopoulos even had a habit of turning deportation into the punchline of his odd jokes.
“If you drive a Honda Civic, YOU ARE GETTING DEPORTED,” he quipped in June 2025.
“If you have ever purchased music by, or tickets to see, Bad Bunny, YOU ARE GETTING DEPORTED,” he wrote that same day, referencing the Super Bowl Halftime Show performer.
Yiannopoulos has also advocated that his homeland should deport migrants from the UK, telling his “British friends” to “take back what was stolen” in an Aug. 2024 post.
Yiannopoulos may be deported back to the United Kingdom following his arrest and detention — which was supposedly brought about by conservative activist Laura Loomer.
“Milo Yiannopoulos is in ICE custody after I exposed his illegal alien lifestyle,” Loomer claimed on Friday.
Yiannopoulos is currently being held in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Neither the Department of Homeland Security nor representatives for Yiannopoulos responded to requests for comment.
