At the Dyson Unveiled event at IFA 2026 in Berlin, Dyson announced a whopping 10 new products, including its first toothbrush, three robot vacuums, three air purifiers, a wet floor cleaner and two hair tools: its first dryer brush and a hair straightener designed to lessen heat damage. If you’re on the lookout for the latest tech for lustrous locks, here’s everything you need to know.
The Airsmooth
Dyson has round brush attachments for its Airwrap multistyler, but according to a press release, the Airsmooth is the brand’s first dedicated dryer brush. Designed for all hair types, it uses two different bristle types: PivotFlex bristles that bend up to 90 degrees and anti-snag bristles that collapse to release strands. Both were created to reduce uncomfortable hair-pulling. The PivotFlex bristles also have an open base that helps control and diffuse airflow, minimizing frizz.
To further protect the hair’s natural texture and prevent damage, Airsmooth’s intelligent heat control measures temperature 100 times per second.
For those who want a dryer brush they can take with them on the go, the Airsmooth has universal voltage, making it a great hair tool for travel.

“For folks who just want a drying brush and don’t want to spend over $600 on the Airwrap and all its attachments, the Airsmooth seems like a great option,” said Nasha Addarich Martínez, who tests hair tools for CNET. “This is similar to Shark, which has the FlexStyle (an Airwrap competitor), but it sells a dryer brush separately, too.”
The Corrale CoolShine
The successor to the Corrale straightener, the Corrale CoolShine includes Dyson’s first-of-its-kind cooling attachment that uses pipes containing a specific amount of water. When heat is applied to the hair, these pipes draw excess heat away from your strands to cool them and prevent damage.

Just like the Corrale, the Corrale CoolShine has flexing plate technology that shapes around the hair to gather it.
According to Dyson, all of this technology combined leaves your locks cooler to the touch, with results lasting up to 24 hours and with up to 154% more shine compared to untreated hair.

Availability and price
The Airsmooth dryer brush is $249 and will be available starting Sept. 8.
As for the Corrale CoolShine straightener, it’s $329 and available on Sept. 15.
