Nope, Americans still don’t want Kamala.

Despite polls showing President Trump’s popularity declining as he crosses his 100th day in office, a new survey finds that a rerun of the 2024 election would end up with exactly the same outcome.

According to the Emerson College poll of registered voters, 94% of Trump voters said they would do so again if they were given the chance to go back in time to Nov. 5 knowing what they know now. A similar percentage of those who backed Vice President Kamala Harris (93%) said the same.

That gives Trump a one-point popular vote edge, 48%-47% — almost in line with the actual outcome (49.8%-48.3%)

“Despite several unpopular domestic and foreign policies, President Trump still holds an entrenched base of voters who, if given the chance, say they would vote for him again,” explained Spencer Kimball, executive director of Emerson College Polling.

Trump, 78, became the first Republican in two decades to win the popular vote in a presidential contest.

The poll was released hours before Harris, 60, makes her much-anticipated return to the political spotlight Wednesday evening with her first major address since losing to Trump

Emerson also found Americans were evenly divided about Trump, with 45% approving of his work as president and 45% disapproving.

A deluge of polling has pegged Trump with the lowest approval rating of any president at their 100-day mark in decades.

Incensed by the brutal findings, Trump has suggested that some of the pollsters behind the “fake polls from fake news organizations” should be investigated.

Trump’s popularity troubles are largely driven by growing consternation about the economy, which he routinely touted during both his first term and the 2024 campaign.

Emerson found that Trump had a positive favorability rating in just two of nine policy areas: immigration (45% approval, 44% disapproval) and higher education (45% approval, 36% disapproval).

Americans were least impressed with his handling of the Russia-Ukraine War (27% approval, 52% disapproval), the Israel-Hamas war (30% approval, 46% disapproval), tariff policy (34% approval, 51% disapproval), and the US economy (37% approval, 49% disapproval).

Just over one in five voters (21%) approved of Trump’s handling of cryptocurrency. Trump has been a champion of digital, having launched his own memecoin while his team recently invited the top 220 donors to a private dinner with him.

“Areas of concern for the president include economic and foreign policy, with voters disapproving of his actions on tariffs and in the Russia-Ukraine war, while voters continue to be divided on immigration and deportation policy,” Kimball explained.

While the general public appears to be growing increasingly skeptical of Trump, the poll noted, his Republican base is standing steadfastly behind him.

“Trump’s base of Republican voters consider his second term to be more of a success, 86% to 14%, whereas Democrats consider it a failure, 88% to 12%,” Kimball continued. “Independents are more divided, with 55% to 45% considering it more of a failure.”

The Emerson College Polling sampled 1,000 registered voters between April 25-28 with a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
