Three people were killed and 16 others wounded when gunfire erupted outside a Chicago nightclub Wednesday night, CBS Chicago reported, citing authorities.
Police said a drive-by shooting occurred outside the Artis Restaurant and Lounge nightclub on the 300 block of W Chicago Ave in the Near North Side neighborhood of the Windy City.
Revelers were leaving the “high-end dining and nightlife destination” after an album release party for Chicago-based rapper Mello Buckzz.
The rapper advertised that the event was being held at a “private location,” which started at 7 p.m. local time.
