COLUMBUS, Ohio — Alleged psycho surgeon Michael McKee still had the gun used to execute his ex-wife Monique Tepe and her dentist husband at his home when he was arrested, cops revealed Wednesday.

Describing the killings as a “targeted attack” and domestic violence, Columbus Police Chief Elaine Bryant said cops also searched McKee’s vehicle follow his arrest in Rockford, Illinois — outside Chicago.

The revelation comes as Monique’s brother-in-law said that her ex-husband McKee was “emotionally abuse” during their short-lived marriage.

McKee’s vehicle was seen on surveillance video close to the Tepes’ home around the time of the murders, and left shortly after, the  chief said.

“Multiple weapons were taken from the property of McKee, and there is a preliminary link to one of the weapons that ties it to the homicides,” Bryant said.

“What we can say, this was a targeted attack. This was a domestic violence-related attack, as we know McKee is the ex-husband of Monique Tepe,” she added.

“We believe at this point we have the person responsible for the murders of Monique and Spencer Tepe, and that person is Michael McKee,” Chief Bryant told the news conference.

“We can’t speak to all of the specifics related to this case, so we don’t want to jeopardize the ultimate conviction,” she added.

McKee is scheduled to appear in court next in Winnebago County, Ill, on Jan. 3 for an extradition hearing, at which point he will be brought to Columbus for trial.
