Passengers at San Diego International Airport faced long lines and crowded terminals Tuesday morning as a technical issue slowed the ticketing process.
An airport spokesperson confirmed that the airport remains open and flights are still arriving and departing despite the delays.
Around 8:30 a.m., the airport posted an update on social media advising travelers to arrive early and check their flight status directly with their airline. They added that the issue was caused by an IT outage.
