A decomposing body has been found dumped in a Tesla reportedly registered to popular New York-born singer D4vd — several days after it was abandoned at a Los Angeles tow yard.
Police made the grim discovery at the impound lot in Hollywood on Monday afternoon after someone reported a foul odor coming from the electric vehicle.
The 2023 Tesla is registered to David Anthony Burke, the 20-year-old Queens-born artist known as D4vd, ABC7 reported.
The identity of the victim wasn’t immediately known.
The human remains were found stashed inside a bag in the Tesla’s front trunk, police said.
The car, which boasts Texas license plates, had been at the lot for roughly five days, according to investigators.
In that time, D4vd has been sharing routine posts with his 2 million followers on Instagram. He is currently on tour and has a show in Minneapolis scheduled for Tuesday night, with a Los Angeles stop slated for later this month.
Reps for the musician — best known for his tracks “Here with Me” and “Romantic Homicide” — haven’t yet commented on the probe.
