Dominick Bianchi, the newlywed husband found dead in the woods in upstate New York after going missing, was remembered as a great friend, a “die hard” Yankees fan and avid concertgoer in a touching obituary.

The Schenectady native, 35, was found dead on Sunday by authorities in East Greenbush days after he’d vanished from his home, leaving behind his cellphone, wallet and car.

Bianchi had married his wife, Julianna Zyra, just four months earlier – who revealed he had been struggling with his mental health in the run-up to his devastating death.

“Dom was a truly exceptional friend, cherishing lifelong friendships that began in childhood while continuing to welcome new friends into his life at every stage, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him,” his obituary read.

Bianchi grew up playing baseball and was a lifelong fan of the Bronx Bombers.

He was also a huge music fan and traveled across the US to see his favorite artists perform, according to the obituary.

He was a 2009 graduate of Mohonasen High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in applied science in marketing from Siena College in 2014.

He most recently worked as the Manager of Agency Marketing at Renaissance.

Bianchi’s body was found in a wooded area on Sunday after he was first reported missing on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

A cause of death has not been released. Zyra previously explained that her husband was having trouble with his mental health and also had type 1 diabetes.

He leaves behind his wife, described as “the love of his life,” his mother, father and two siblings, among other extended family members.

Rather than flowers, Bianchi’s family asked for donations to the Breakthrough T1D charity supporting research for type 1 diabetes in his memory.
