Rep. Melanie Stansbury (D-NM) held up a sign reading, “This is not normal” in the direction of TV cameras as President Trump walked down the House chamber aisle to deliver his speech to a joint session on Congress Tuesday.
Rep. Lance Gooden (R-Texas) ripped the small paper sign out of Stansbury’s hands shortly after she displayed it and tossed it into the air.
Trump was just feet in front of the disturbance, and it’s not clear whether he noticed it.
