A high school Spanish teacher from California is accused of having a sexual relationship with a teenage student, according to police.

Dulce Flores, a teacher at Riverbank High School outside of Modesto, is charged with having sex with a 17-year-old while he was a student in 2023, according to the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office.

The 33-year-old had been teaching at the school since 2016, cops said.

Authorities launched an investigation into the sick teacher after a school official received a tip about the inappropriate relationship.

She was placed on a leave of absence while the case is investigated, according to a statement from the Riverbank Unified School District, The Modesto Bee reported.

The district said it is cooperating with authorities and has been in contact with families of students enrolled in Flores’ classes to minimize “any disruption to their instruction for the remainder of the academic year.”

“It is truly unfortunate for our district to face a situation like this,” Superintendent Constantino Aguilar said. “While we continue to work with law enforcement, the district will also look to determine what options it may have available to independently address this matter.”

Flores was arrested at her home on Tuesday and booked at the Stanislaus County Jail on charges of unlawful sex with a minor.

She was being held on a $20,000 bail, cops said.

The Post has reached out to the sheriff’s office and the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office for additional information.
