A lefty MSNBC analyst and her “liberal hypocrisy” have been savagely mocked after she criticized President Trump’s crime clampdown in the nation’s capital — despite complaining about rampant theft in DC just months ago.

Ashley Parker, who is also a senior national political correspondent for The Washington Post, penned an article for The Atlantic on Friday describing Trump’s deployment of the National Guard and other federal officers to DC as an “occupation” that had made life “terrifying” for undocumented immigrants.

“To some — especially undocumented immigrants — the Guard presence is disconcerting at best, terrifying at worst,” wrote Parker and her co-author, Nancy A. Youssef, in the piece titled, “Why Is the National Guard in DC? Even They Don’t Know.”

“It was clear that almost no one felt particularly good about the arrangement: not the National Guardsmen, many of whom clearly didn’t want to be there, leaving their families and jobs in order to spread mulch and pick up trash; and not the residents, many of whom were furious with the occupation of their city or, worse, terrified of what the military’s presence portended for them and their loved ones,” the article continued.

The piece also mocked the National Guard’s presence in the city as “sitcom-esque” and “their backdrops farcical,” while quoting sources comparing them to gardeners.

Following the article’s publication, a recent social media post of Parker’s complaining about crime in the city went viral.

“After another bike was stolen last night, my husband and I realized our life as DC homeowners by the numbers includes: 1 stolen car; 2 stolen scooters/Vespas; 3 stolen bikes; a partridge in a pear tree; etc.,” the journalist fumed in the post on X shared on June 24.

“This you?” one X user wrote in response to the post, sharing a link to Parker’s post promoting her new piece in The Atlantic.

“Lmao come on now,” a second wrote under a separate post.

“Any stolen items the past few weeks Ashley?” another user asked Parker.

“The liberal hypocrisy is deafening,” wrote another X user.

Parker did not respond immediately to The Post’s requests for comment.

On Monday, President Trump claimed DC was “now a crime-free zone” as a result of his deployment of the National Guard.

Praising the city’s Mayor Muriel Bowser for cooperating with his administration, he called on other blue-state governors to let him do the same.

“Wow! Mayor Muriel Bowser of D.C. has become very popular because she worked with me and my great people in bringing CRIME down to virtually NOTHING in D.C.,” Trump posted on his Truth Social Monday.

“Her statements and actions were positive, instead of others like [Illinois Gov. JB] Pritzker, [Maryland Gov.] Wes Moore, [California Gov. Gavin] Newscum [Newsom], and the 5% approval rated Mayor of Chicago, who spend all of their time trying to justify violent Crime, instead of working with us to completely ELIMINATE it, which we have done in Washington, D.C., NOW A CRIME FREE ZONE,” he added.
