The married Illinois special education accused of raping a 15-year-old student allegedly kept a “memoir” in her phone’s notes app in which she accused the teen of cheating on her, according to court documents.
Christine Formella, a 30-year-old teacher at Downer Grove High School, wrote in a lengthy note that she was upset that the “disgusting” student “cheated on me” when their relationship ended, according to a petition to deny her pre-trial release obtained by People.
“We will never ever be together again,” Formella groaned in the note, according to the document.
“I’m not a second choice. I’m the best thing you’ll ever have even with all of my mistakes.”
In a section of the rant which she titled “Manifestations” she allegedly typed that she hoped the teen would reach out to her soon to “try to fix things between us.”
She continued, “In the meantime, I’m going to live my best life knowing he’s not the person I thought he was and that he is beneath me,” prosecutors alleged.
