Miami running back Jordan Lyle has been slated to take the next step this season after the Canes’ championship appearance last year, but his season is not off to the best start.
The 20-year-old rising junior was arrested in Broward County on Thursday on a felony complaint of aggravated fleeing or eluding law enforcement, court records say.
Lyle is accused of driving “in any manner which demonstrates a wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property” and “willfully” trying to get away from police.
