Video released from a new episode of “Ghost Adventures” captured the moment host Aaron Goodwin learned his wife had been arrested for concocting a murder-for-hire plot to kill him.

The clip, which aired Wednesday on the Discovery+ channel, captured Goodwin staring down at his phone in astonishment while filming inside the abandoned Hollydale Mental Hospital in Downey, California, in March.

“Hold on one second,” Goodwin, 49, said as he walked to answer a call, according to the clip first obtained by TMZ.

“You alright, you ok?” cast member Jay Wasley asks him.

“Bro, the police are at my house… I gotta go outside,” Goodwin responds before storming out of the pitch black abandoned medical complex.

The show chose to limit the footage out of respect for Goodwin.

Moments after taking the call with the police, Goodwin learned that his wife, Victoria Goodwin, 32, had been arrested on solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder charges for hiring a hitman to kill him, TMZ reported.

In the months leading up to the murder plot, Victoria had been sleeping with “multiple men,” including convicted killer Grant Amato, the ghost hunter revealed at his wife’s sentencing in June.

The 32-year-old’s lover, Amato, was convicted of massacring his mother, father, and brothers and was serving a life sentence in a Florida prison when she reached out to him as a pen pal following his role in a documentary “Ctrl+Alt+Desire.”

Victoria had been messaging Amato since October 2024, openly expressing a desire to kill Goodwin to get out of her marriage, the outlet reported.

“Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce,” police cited Victoria texting the inmate.

She allegedly offered $11,515 to pay for the job and passed along info about her husband’s location to Amato to provide to a hitman he was communicating with to pull off the slaying.

The murder-for-hire plot was only discovered after corrections officers confiscated the Florida inmate’s phone as contraband, the outlet previously reported, citing law enforcement.

Aaron filed for divorce after the despicable plot was revealed.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the paranormal investigator stated he would not be watching the new episode as he continues to heal from the incident.

“This next episode of #ghostadventures is when I got the FaceTime call from the cops. They were in my house & told me what she did & she was arrested,” Goodwin wrote in the caption of a clip of the Hollydale Mental Hospital.

“I won’t be watching this episode cause I don’t want to relive that night again & what happened before the call. This lockdown is insane & disturbing with what happened during our investigation,” he said.

Victoria was found guilty and sentenced to a minimum of 36 months and a maximum of 90 months in Nevada prison.

The full episode titled “Hollydale Asylum of Hell” aired on Discovery+ at 10 p.m. Eastern.
