A man who fired at police during a road rage incident was shot and killed by officers in Manhattan on Thursday night, according to law enforcement sources.

Police responded to a road rage incident just before 11 p.m. on Bedford Street in the West Village, according to sources.

During an altercation, the man involved shot at officers — prompting cops to return fire, sources added.

He was struck by gunfire and pronounced dead in the aftermath of the chaotic scene, sources said.
