A tattooed woman with green and blonde hair randomly pummeled an elderly woman inside a Midtown train station last week, cops said.
The 73-year-old victim was riding a southbound E train approaching the Fifth Avenue-53rd Street station around 4:30 p.m. Thursday when the bright-haired stranger sat down next to her and started yelling, police said.
When the alarmed victim got off the train, her crazed seatmate followed and repeatedly punched her in the face on the platform, cops said.
The unhinged attacker then fled on an E train heading the opposite direction, toward Queens, police said.
Meanwhile, the senior was treated on scene by EMS for minor injuries, police said.
Surveillance video released by the NYPD shows the still-at-large suspect, seen with two-toned hair and tattoos on her legs and left arm, wearing a short-sleeved dark green dress and carrying a black backpack as she entered the subway station.
Anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
