Twin brothers were shot in Brooklyn Thursday afternoon, leaving one dead and the other injured, while the gunman remains at large, according to police and sources.

The siblings were found with gunshot wounds when cops arrived at Sutter and Euclid Avenues in the East New York neighborhood around 2:40 p.m. following reports of an assault, police said.

Darius Coles, 20, of Brooklyn, was blasted in the chest and later pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, the Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed.

His twin brother suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and a graze wound to the head.

The 20-year-old, who has not been identified publicly, was also taken to the Brooklyn hospital and is in stable condition, police said.

The suspected gunman fled east on foot along Sutter Avenue and was last seen wearing a red tracksuit, white shoes, and a white shirt, sources said.

Multiple shell casings and a box cutter were recovered from the grim scene.

No arrests have been made. The investigation remains ongoing.
