This deal is a slam dunk.

Wendy’s is handing out free fries and Frosty treats thanks to the first dunk during the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball National Championship Game on Monday night.

The first dunk made by Roddy Gayle Jr. for the Michigan Wolverines unlocked a nationwide offer at the fast-food chain, dubbed “Free Dunks for America.”

On Tuesday, April 7, customers nationwide can get one small fry paired with a small chocolate or vanilla Frosty at participating restaurants for free.

The offer is valid in-restaurant only just for one day, no purchase necessary.

“March Madness has delivered thrilling college basketball action and unforgettable upsets – but nothing can rival the most epic dunks fans will create with their free Fries and Frosty,” the company said in a news release.

Wendy’s is the Official Dunks partner of NCAA March Madness, and the chain has celebrated “the most memorable plays both on and off the court” with their Wendy’s Dunks Menu, which included a Frosty, fries, 6-piece nuggets or 3-piece chicken tenders.

A slam dunk in basketball refers to when the player jumps up and forcefully thrusts the ball through the net.

The two-handed dunk in the first half of the championship game allowed fans to unlock the special offer at Wendy’s and get the free opportunity to dunk their fries in their Frosty.

“Not to be dramatic, but that was the greatest moment in dunk history,” Wendy’s said of the dunk on X.

Fans were excited about the freebie news.

“My 7 year old is gonna be pumped!” one person responded.

“Oh hell ya, Wendy’s frosty is the goated fast food item imo,” another wrote.

“Frosty fry Tuesday,” someone said.
