A teen was killed, and two people were wounded after gunfire erupted at a barbecue inside a popular Long Island park on Wednesday night — with two people now in custody, according to authorities and reports.

The shooting broke out around 8:20 p.m. near Hempstead Turnpike and Merrick Avenue in Eisenhower Park, Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder told reporters, according to CBS New York.

A 15-year-old boy and two other people were shot in the gang-related violence and taken to a local hospital, where the unidentified teen was pronounced dead, the outlet said.

An invitation for a barbecue at the park was sent out to purported gang members on social media.

An argument then broke out at the event, sparking the gunfire, according to sources.

Two people who were carrying weapons were taken into custody after the shooting.

It is unclear if they have yet been charged in connection with the incident, sources said.

The two other victims are in surgery as of late Wednesday, but are listed in stable condition.

The Nassau County Police Department did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.

An investigation into the deadly shooting remains ongoing.
