A Florida woman convicted in the death of an OnlyFans model and Kim Kardashian lookalike has been sentenced to four years in prison for a deadly backroom butt lift gone wrong.
Vivian Alexandra Gomez, 53, was sentenced Tuesday after she was convicted of involuntary manslaughter by a San Mateo County, CA, jury in March.
Prosecutors say she performed several unlicensed silicone injections on Christina Ashten Gourkani — who died from complications in April 2023.
Gomez said won’t appeal the conviction and wants to “just go to prison and do her time,” according to the local Daily Journal, which also relayed the four-year sentence.
Her 44-year-old victim died of respiratory failure and a pulmonary embolism linked to the illegal Brazilian butt lift, which had been meant to make her look like Kardashian, prosecutors told the local Daily Post.
Gomez — who carried out the procedures in a California hotel room — was also convicted of practicing medicine without a license, a felony.
Bargain-basement fanny-fattening procedures are more dangerous than many aspiring divas realize, authorities warn.
Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Obeng told People magazine that such illicit ops have proved fatal on many occasions.
“Most of these illegal injections are made with silicone, and silicone or any foreign substance can migrate within the body, which can lead to infection and hardness over time, deforming parts of the body,” Obeng told the mag.
“And as with any injection, it can go into your bloodstream … And if it gets in the bloodstream, it can block the blood vessels and cause necrosis,” he said, referring to the death of vital cells.
Gourkani’s family detailed in an online fundraiser getting the “tragic phone call from a family member who was frantically screaming and crying hysterically” that “Ashten is dying.”
It was “a phone call that instantly shattered our world and will forever haunt our family,” said the fundraiser, which was closed after getting $6,600.
The viral Kim K lookalike “was such a caring and loving free spirit that always took the time to bring a smile to anyone’s face she crossed paths with,” it said.
“Ashten’s spirit is a light that will forever carry on to her loved ones around her and those that she has left behind.”
