Boston homicide detectives have launched a “death investigation” after a dead body was found Saturday at a suburban home owned by Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley’s husband, according to a new report.

Police were dispatched to a property in Boston’s Mattapan neighborhood shortly before 2 p.m. Saturday after receiving an “investigate person call,” the Boston Globe reported citing police spokesperson Officer James Moccia

After arriving on scene, a dead body was found in the area of the home, according to Moccia.

The situation at the seven-bedroom property in Malta Street was described as a “death investigation,” according to another police spokesperson, Sergeant Detective John Boyle.

According to city records, the home is owned by Pressley’s husband Conan Harris and was valued at more than $919,000, the outlet reported.

It is not known if anyone was living at the home at the time, but the property was listed for sale about a month ago.

Reps for Pressley couldn’t immediately be reached for comment by The Post, and declined to comment to the Boston paper.
