“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin’s son was nabbed trespassing on Metro-North Railroad tracks in Westchester County – and wasted no time dropping his famous mom’s name, The Post has learned.

Gabriel Hostin, 24, was spotted jogging along MTA tracks in New Rochelle on June 16, ignoring “no trespassing” signs and giving lip to cops when they questioned him, sources said Monday.

“They were just talking to the kid because he was trespassing, but his mother made it an issue,” the sources said. “She wanted to know why he was stopped and why did they talk to him.”

According to the sources, cops then got on the phone with the TV personality from the hit ABC talk show, who allegedly asked if they knew who she was.

“She said I am Sunny Hostin, I am on ‘The View,’” the source claimed she answered.

The sources said the path along the tracks typically raises suicide concerns for MTA cops, but there is no indication that Gabriel Hostin was attempting to harm himself.

Court records show that Gabriel Hostin was stopped shortly before 8 p.m. on June 16 near 24 Station Plaza in the suburban city after he was spotted “on the right-of-way of the active railroad tracks, in violation of the posted no trespassing signs.”

He was cited for a trespassing violation, and is due back in New Rochelle court on July 31.

Sunny Hostin declined to comment on the incident when reached by phone Monday.
