Curry Barker’s smash-hit horror flick Obsession has become a hot topic of conversation online since its theatrical release in May, with viewers drumming up theories about its characters, storylines and subliminal messaging. The film is now due to stream on Peacock.

Obsession features Michael Johnston as Bear and Inde Navarrette as Nikki, his co-worker/friend, whom he has a crush on. When Bear buys and breaks a quirky toy called the “One Wish Willow” and makes a wish, he gets “exactly what he asked for but soon discovers that some desires come at a dark, sinister price,” according to the film’s blurb.

So far, the Blumhouse movie has made over $400 million at the box office — a bona fide breakout hit. Here are all the details on when to stream it at home.

When to stream Obsession on Peacock

US viewers can watch the supernatural horror film on Peacock on Friday, July 17

You can choose from two Peacock price tiers to access the streamer’s entire catalog: Premium, the ad-based plan that costs $11 per month, and Premium Plus, which is $17 per month and mostly ad-free. (Some ads still appear in limited content on the Premium Plus tier.)

Peacock also offers a cheaper $8-per-month Select tier, but you don’t get access to Universal Pictures movies such as Obsession or The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

Monthly subscription plans are one way to get Peacock, but there are options to get the streaming service for free, in a bundle or as an annual subscription. It’s packaged with Apple TV in a bundle for US subscribers. Pricing for an annual Peacock plan starts at $110.
